Liz Noli Roberts
Social Media Manager
So, what do you do?
My role is focused on developing the right social media strategies to support our clients’ goals. Then it’s getting down to the nuts and bolts of how the strategy gets delivered within budget, identifying which platforms are the best fit for the overall marketing plan. Alongside this, it’s my job to support clients in learning more about what social media can do for their business. Many clients may have only experienced social media through their personal accounts, so they’re not aware of what it can offer for their company’s marketing.
What's inspired you lately?
I take a lot of inspiration from the Yorkshire landscape. I’m one of those mad ramblers who’s happy to go out into the rain, wind, and snow for a brisk 12-mile slog over hill and dale. I grew up in New England, and spent my childhood summers in Vermont. Those stunning panoramic views around Yorkshire remind me of Vermont. Without the bears.
In your opinion, what is the next big thing in the world of Social Media going to be?
The next big thing is already here - those social media creators who will continue to entertain and inform us on YouTube, Instagram, and now TikTok. Facebook will continue its march toward world domination. Just as they incorporated stories from Instagram, and filters from Snapchat, we’ll see more successful features from other platforms being adopted by Facebook. Currently there's a rush on social platforms to roll out short vertical video placements in an effort to compete with TikTok.
What was the last brilliant idea you had?
Moving to Yorkshire of course! This year I'm celebrating seven years in God’s Own Country. Sure, New Zealand had a bit more sunshine, but that’s what vitamin D tablets are for, right?
